“I really have nothing to complain about. The interior is spotlessly clean, even if the approach is a bit intimidating. Staff are supremely friendly and helpful; my wife, recovering from a hip replacement, struggled with the 66 steps to our room, and they moved us to a self-contained three-room apartment on the first floor at no extra charge. Reception helped with maps, directions, and early calls. All must-sees are walkable, plus three markets and great Sicilian restaurants nearby. Breakfast was more than adequate, and the price is remarkable—many hostels cost more.”

Talk to Eugenio at reception; show him a map and he'll point you to culture, local food, and nightlife. We had a great time thanks to the staff and the simple, comfortable room.”
